PCB Tinning

I'm just in the process of starting with pcb-milling. I have seen some postings writing about tinplating  of the board.
What is the simplest  way to get a nice finish?
The processes  I see is.
Plane old solder, paste or regular solder.
Electroplating.
Non electric plating by a chemical  tin solution.

Electroless tin plating is the easiest, but it requires some expensive chemicals.
It also requires fairly clean surface free of oil, but the overall process is the easiest AFAIK.
Electroplating is a more powerful method, but it requires super clean surface and tight plating solution control.
Tinning with iron or paste guarantees uneven surface unless you have a HASL machine, so if you are looking for a perfect surface for fine pitched SMD parts, think twice.
