I'm not sure of the correct terms but when I add the ground and 5v symbol in my schematic in two different places than convert my schematic to a PCB they are not connected.
I do this to make the schematic as neat as possible and adding all your power lines makes it very messy.
Is there any way to do this in Diptrace?
Heres what I mean:

When you look at your schematic, all the faint teal coloured squares are indicating that the connection has not been successful.
All the bight teal circles indicate that the connections are in-deed connected.
Just make sure you "grab" the component ends successfully (you can see as they change colour) before dragging the new wire to the next component. Then ensure the next component end changes colour before you "let go" of the new wire being placed.
