Silkscreen on DIY boards?
770 1 May 29.2019, 08:46:46

Hello,

I have recently started adding green soldermask film to my home-made PCBs and have been impressed by the professional look of the finished product.  I would now like to add a white or yellow silkscreen to the board... is this possible using the same technique as adding the soldermask, i.e. does photo-sensitive soldermask film come in white?
What other way could I add a silkscreen?

In case you don't need too much resolution (>15 mil) you can use etched can stencils with some registration holes and some white spray paint. It doesn't rub off unless you wipe your boards with specific organic solvents.
