I am finally spending some time cleaning up our templates for schematics, BOMs and PCBs and I'm curious what additional information people include on their PCBs and ultimately Gerbers.
We have a template that has our company name, address, a revision, project name, date, drawn by, as well as some things that are never used like drawing number (we don't have a system in place for these) which usually either stay default or are deleted before generating output for production. We also have a border, which I'm skeptical about it's usefulness but have left it in place.
I'm curious what people include or have found useful in the past?

Added to PCB Files:
Either on the top component overlay or on the top or bottom copper layers:
A/ PBC File Name including revision number
ie XMO_v1
B/ Date of the design when the Gerber files are being generated
ie 23/02/2018
C/ The copyright symbol to retain the ownership of the layout
ie (C)
D: Your Company Name or your Website URL
Added to Gerber Files:
Absolutely NOTHING.
If you want to point out slotted holes or gold fingers etc to the board shop, do this on one of your mechanical layers, generate the Gerber for the mechanical layer & when you place your order make special mention that the mechanical layer contains pcb board manufacturing instructions that must be adhered to.
