commercial PNP Vacuum systems

Hi
I was wondering what method or system do commercial PNP systems use for their vacuum system. I was wondering that they might use something from pneumatic systems and use an air compressor and a vacuum generator, but in that way the system is very noisy in terms of sound generation and I think by using them they wouldn't be able to achieve 180000 components per hour.
Do you have any Idea what they are doing?

The yamaha machines generate a vacumn from compressed air.. They palce about 14,000 parts/hour.
