The question about solder mask expansion on SOT353

Here's a pic. I thought that this manufacture was pretty good. But, what I couldn't see with the naked eye, I see now with a USB microscope. Kinda dissapointed. Is this normal for SOT-353 chips? And SOT 363. Looks liek they were able to get some between these pads. Though, the alignment is Horid 
Guess it doesnt really matter for how cheap the boards are. the chips do still work.

This is exactly why manufacturers provide expansion rules for their processes.
